Available Sections

The Garden of Faith: This section’s impressive feature is the 23rd Psalm embossed on a bronze tablet which sits on a large piece of granite.

The Garden of Meditation: In this section, the natural beauty of the grounds and carefully chosen trees creates a sense of serenity all year round.

The Garden of Veterans: Opened in 1970 as a tribute to all veterans, this section features a larger than life size monument of a replica of Iwo Jima.

The Garden of Valor: The newest section of Knollwood Memorial Park, this garden in available for pre-need purchases only. Limited to veterans and their families, lots may be purchased now. This section is still under development. A special sales program applies to this section.

Cremation

Knollwood does not have facilities to perform the actual cremation but as a large regional cemetery it provides many options for the burial and entombment of cremation urns including:

Columbarium: Within the serenity of the West Chapel, a beautiful bronze columbarium with beveled glass fronts is available for the placement of cremation urns.  

Cremation Garden: A special section set aside within an established memorial garden has been set aside for the exclusive use of the burial of cremated remains.  

Garden of the Cross: Individual cremation spaces. Located within this establish section, cremation spaces have been developed for the ground burial of cremated remains.  

Pine Knoll (Scattering Garden): This is an area set aside for the exclusive purpose of scattering cremated remains. The scattering is done in a specific space so that the cremated remains can be covered with soil. This spot cannot be marked individually but a central bronze tablet is available in the Garden to add the names and dates of all those interred within its borders.    

Lot spaces: Two cremated remains may be buried in one lot space. This is available anywhere throughout the cemetery.

Tree Space: A cremation space may be available within an area set aside for a tree. Remains may also be buried in special areas in gardens even if there are no trees.

Family Counseling

Counseling for families is available at no extra charge. Please contact us for more information.

Chapel Use

Two serene chapels are available at Knollwood that are most often used for interment services but can be used for individual meditation and prayer. 

The Chapels are air-conditioned and heated for your comfort year round. To reserve a chapel for a memorial service, we have to be notified twenty-four hours in advance. No reservation is needed to use a chapel for individual meditation

Funeral Directors

Knollwood Memorial Park is proud of the relationship we have established and maintained with the surrounding funeral directors in this area. Knollwood welcomes all funeral directors, we ask that if a funeral director is not familiar with our cemetery that he or she contact us in advance for our rules and regulations.

The following is a short list of Funeral Directors that most frequently come to Knollwood. Please note that this is not meant to be a complete list nor is it a recommendation of any funeral director by this cemetery.
